Volunteers make local youth sports possible.  Local youth sports are enormous enterprises involving thousands of children and countless hours of work, but the people who make it happen are almost always volunteers.

We are always seeking volunteers to our organization.  None of it could take place without the men and women who donate their time.  From the Board members, to the coaches, to the parent who worked concessions for an hour.  The time spent volunteering may vary from role to role, but are critical to the success of our organization, and most importantly, to our children.

There are many opportunities to volunteer within our organization:

• Coaching football
• Become a Board member
• Concession Stand
• Apparel Stand
• Game clock
• Game announcer
• Sideline Chains

As of the 2017 season, we have made some changes to the Volunteer Fee.  In an effort to keep initial 'out-of-pocket' expenses low, we will be collecting a post-dated check for $100 at equipment suit-ups, instead of collecting a deposit from you and returning it at the end of the season. After you completed 1 Hour of volunteer time in our concession or apparel stand, we will return the check to you.  It is our hope that when equipment return occurs, we can return all of these checks, with no money ever leaving your bank account.  

We are hoping that this change will be a positive one for the Little Scouts community, for the benefits of our youth. If all goes well, we hope to continue this in the future. However, if we still struggle for volunteers, we will have to re-visit this change next season.
